In a recent podcast Dr Daniel Amen unleashed one of his secret tips…….. One of the trends he noticed in a lot of healthy brains was the fact these patients were taking a ginkgo supplement.
TIP 2 - SELF TALK
We all have it, that annoying negative voice in our heads that can hold us back at times. Well it’s time to put a stop to it.
I know it may be uncomfortable at first but self talk works. Everyday take a few minutes to look in the mirror and talk yourself up.
Your self talk will help to train your brain into looking at the good things you do and it will help to build your confidence.
TIP 3 - DAILY EXERCISE

TIP 4 - DRINK WATER
Water is vital to the human body as 60-70% of your body is water. When it comes to your brain this figure increases slightly to approximately 80%.
If your brain becomes dehydrated your performance will drop significantly.
TIP 5 - MATCHA GREEN TEA
Matcha green tea contains up to 5 times more L-theanine than conventional green tea. L-theanine is an amino acid with psychoactive properties, capable of inducing alpha wave activity in the brain.
But what does this mean? Alpha wave activity can relieve stress, promote relaxation and even lower blood pressure.
